I am a graduate of West Texas State University in Canyon, Texas.  I earned my Bachelors degree in Psychology in 1987 and my Masters degree in Mental Health Counseling in 1998.  I have worked in the mental health field in Amarillo, the surrounding panhandle , and overseas for the past 25 years.  I obtained the following licenses and certifications over the course of his career:

• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)

• Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC)

• Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S)

• Registered Play Therapist & Supervisor (RPT-S) from the National Play Therapy Association (Inactive)

• Certified Child Psychotherapist (CCPPT) and Play Therapist Supervisor (CCPPTS) from the International Play Therapy Association (Inactive)

• Certified as a Mediator in the State of Texas

• Trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
